"When my boyfriend and I decided to get married,
my mind started racing with the details. However
there were two things that I was absolutely sure about.
I was in love with this man, and I wanted to commit my
life to him in the most wonderful service, performed by
my dad.
I
spent my last few years at home watching the very beginning
of my parents' wedding business. My dad gave all
he had in his heart to these weddings, from just the small
wedding with the bride and groom, to the larger wedding
with family and friends. I knew that as his
only little girl he would give me even more...and he did.
I
have always imagined my wedding and how perfect everything
would be. I never REALLY thought that everything
would be just that. My mom took every little detail
and made it an extraordinary thing. From the dinner
napkins and decorations, to the flowers and gifts...everything
was...well...PERFECT. It was almost like walking
into a fairy-tale, your own little world where God has
made everything just perfect for you.
On
this night, August 23, the love of a man and a woman,
and of family and friends came together into the most
flawless event of my life. And without the love
and devotion of these two wonderful people that I am proud
to call "Mom and Dad" none of it would have
been the same.
So,
now I take this opportunity to thank you...for being the
most wonderful parents through even the roughest times,
for always wanting the best for me, for always making
sacrifices, for always being good friends, and now...for
making Damian and my wedding the most brilliant day of
our lives."
